Dropping A 5.4 In

I have a bud with a 2000 v6 stang, just the basic question, will the engine fit/bolt in the stock engine mounts?

i saw in MM&FF where someone did the swap, and it did not fit in the stock motor mounts, and i believe he had to move the firewall back and get a 4" or 6" cowl hood. not sure on the specs exactly for the build, but i remember coming across something like that in MM&FF

Most people that get a 5.4 get them out of a navigator...

The swap can be done jsut takes some work...But it would pay off nicely in the end...

I will take pics, and of coarse, do a video when done! I am taking the engine out of my truck to swap in a fully built 5.4, 600hp at the crank with no nitrous. The engine in there now has 325 at the crank. It should make the mustang run pretty good, for being n/a
