?w-30 Oil!!!
I got a 4.0L 06 mustang. 24,000 Miles. I just changed the oil myself and I out a full synthetic motor oil. After I was done changing the oil I realized I had added 10W-30 motor oil. is this a problem for the engine cause right on the oil cap it says "5W-30". Will I notice a power drop or will it cause any problems with protection of the engine?
Thanks |

yeah, thats not an extreme weight change, so dont worry about it. Other fluids however like tranny and gear fluid are more specific for future notice...so make sure you always look at the manual for specifics before adding/changing fluids.
