Your better off just getting a custom system fabbed up at a muffler shop and getting them to throw the mufflers on. There really isn't a huge benefit from buying a kit. If you do want to the offroad pipe then your gonna need M.I.L eliminators or a tuner to keep the engine running properly. It will still run and drive, just your check engine light will be on.

if all you're looking for is sound (which i hope you are on this car) get the flowmasters.

a high flow cat mid-pipe will be just as expensive as a catback system so that sounds about right for magnaflows and HF cats.

the mid pipe is what goes from the end of your manifolds/headers to about the middle of the car. From there is where the catback begins. The midpipe has the catalytic converters, where the catback has the mufflers and tips at end

heres a basic catted mid-pipe for stock manifold/shorty headers

basic catback:

you're getting ripped off.

should be in the 320 dollar range to do the mufflers dumped, thats it. 220 to delete your phase 1's and put in highflow cats.

Why? Magnaflow has some of the more expensive cats on the market and they price at 100 even ON THEIR website. All a muffler shop has to do is weld them into the existing piping.

as it was explained to me, there are four cats under our car (99-04) and to replace them will only get me an additional 2-3 hp average......not sure how or why but....thats what 4 people told me....and i was quoted at 200 each. I tryed Midas, Pep Boys, A mom and pop shop, and a personal friend back home.

no go to mom and pop shops, local places are usually best... find a local muscle car forum or group and see what they say usually local places have wise old men that can help you out...
