you spray according to direction on product can. you are directed to cover battery, all electrical, and air filter and just spray on, let sit, and hose off. i just cover everything in engine brite, let site for a few minutes, hose off and allow to dry before starting motor. you want to do this on a cool engine too

Yeah Never Do It On A Hot Engine Or You Might Run The Risk Of Cracking It

dont have pics, but put a small trash bag over the battery, air filter (if exposed) and any exposed electrical (shouldnt have to worry about that) i dont cover anything, i just dont spray the battery. i cover everything else liberally and allow to soak for a few minutes, hose off, and looks brand new

Nice clean engine...

One bad thing about simple green is that it will strip any kind of wax you have on your car...So if it splashes up on your fenders you will want to reapply wax...

Everything should be ok...If you are worried about something then put a walmart/trah bag over it and go to town...

I don't cover anything, but in case someone is retarded enough to soak degreasers on open wires on a pos car, I don't want PMs saying how I ruined their car with my advice. I will on the record say: "Follow directions on product label." Though, I do things my own way.
