see now your growing up
and what your saying here deffinitly makes 0 sense because before it moved all over the place
WITHOUT A correct description of whats really going on its impossible to tell
the case that holds the axles should not be able to move side to side at all. but as far as spinning left or right it should have SOME movement very little which is your backlash
excessive movement is a probably and is due to either improper instalation, bad side bearings, bad pinion barings or the shims where mixed around
but if there is wear on the teeth then thats a different story

do you have wear on your ring teeth?

ive told you what is wrong with the car day by day as i have inspected yea we got off topic blasting each other but i know what is wrong with my car! As soon as i described it to my dad he said rear end described it to ASE certified and its the driveshaft or u joints the whole chunk moves left to right and its not suppose to so were gonna see if new axel bearings will work if not getting a new rear end! AM I MAKING SENSE NOW!

your not making sense

dude your says your rear end the case that the ring gear is attatch to moves side to side? then you say the pinion gear moves side to side
IF YOUR pinion gear moves side to side your bearings are bad and you would see your teeth being messed up
ive asked you the f**kin question like 10 times if you notice any wear on your teeth
WHAT YOU WERE DESCRIBING BEFORE WAS NORMAL BACKLASH until you stated the entire rear end moved everywhere
then just side to side
not its just the pinion gear
a post down now the case moves side to side?

you've yet to stick with ONE situation your case will not move back and forth with out what ive said
YOU HAVE TO pretty much hammer the case in there to get in
so that b!tch aint moving side to side as far as left to right

now if your ring gear and SPIN as in rotate ALOT thats a different story its f**kin impossible to tell because you keep telling different stories about it

you claim im wrong?
how the f**k can i be wrong if you havent chose which lie or truth you want to stick with?

ive said the scenarios plenty before that would cause that and are the logical reason if yo believe that is wrong then your an utter moron

i even gave a reason as to why it would have to be able to move side to side which is damm impossible for the reasons ive mentiond
lol its funny how you swear you'll prove me wrong but ive stated nothing but facts

oh and not to mention you've lied yet AGAIN

at first you took it to your mechanic and he looked at it etc..
now the mechanic is your dad
then NOW you say you told your dad what happend and he gave you his opinion

so you've told him the same lies your telling me probably

and as a matter a fact in just about EVERYSINGLE post you've made you've changed the story or lie around.

you've yet to keep one story straight.

has the thought occurred to anyone why this guy would post on here asking this question if his dad was a mechanic? Wouldn't you just ask your dad?

who knows...at first a guy...he knows..his mechanic looked at it and checked it out
then he said his dad is
THEN hes said that he told his dad what he saw and felt and his dad gave him an answer

so apparently he's the only one whose really seen the rear end...
i wouldnt be surprised of the diff cover hasnt even been taken off

chris honestly....just let him pay for a new rear end. Obviously he doesnt care for your advice and is going to go against whatever you tell him.

nate, dont come to a forum for help if you DONT want to hear advice from other people. Yur only gonna stir up problems, piss off members, which will lead to admins gettin pissed off, which will ultimately lead to you getting ban hammered.
