to beat a gt?

i raced a 95 vert 5.0 and he barely beat me. i had him on the jump and until third gear.. he passed me and i rode his bumper til we stopped. my friend had a 01 v6 camaro vert and the 5.0 saw nuthin but my friend's taillights

^ oh yea? well I raced an 06 Z06 the other day and whooped his ass.
It was almost like he was sitting in a parking lot at a dealership with a for sale sign on him as I passed him doing 55mph!

well i already have exhaust work and as far as bolt on's i have UD pulleys and a cold air intake and am working on a ram air intake like greenfaleens. all i would need is a good tune and gears to be with a 5.0?

gears and split port, gears will get you close

sweet tyhanks guys you make me feel better bout my v6. kinda had a bad day. i got behind the 5.0 and he took off and i just kinda sat there and wished i could do that. now you guys have shown me that im close

yeah a 99-04 v6 will run with the 5.0s

ive got a split port swap going for $350 for intakes and heads

if you get them ported and do you cam you'll deffinitly take them

but iv only raced 1 :]
BUT once i buy this tma kit ill have no problems

Depends on the driver of the GT too. With a shit driver the car is a slow turd.

Stock vs modded six I would say Gears, T-lok, UD pulleys, CAI, TUNE, and exhaust you will be fine.

And with the split-port swap you'd be much better off vs ANY car.
