15.4 has been done in a stock 99-04 V6 with bolt ons and a tune and 4.10s running mid 14s low 14s with drags is possible considering its been dyno tuned to beat 98 and older GT its VERY possible

but that s/c gt was nice too tho
it was that green color but i think he should have invested more into the engine besides the s/c and misc random stuff rather than a FULL saleen body kit still a really nice and quick car tho

![]() And yeah, I agree that with gears and bolt-ons, a good driver might beat an average driver in a 99-04 5-speed GT. My point is that it's not as simple as: Split-Port V6 + Bolt-ons + Gears = beat a 99-04 GT I took our '01 GT to the track w/ just exhaust in crappy 90* heat... 14.2@100 w/ a crappy 2.2 60'. My dad drove it to a 14.6 after bogging/spinning the launch and TOTALLY missing a gear. My friend took his bone stock '01 GT to the same track in 80*, ultra-high humidity weather, and went 14.1@99 w/ a 2.1 60'. Also, there were 3 other virtually stock 99-04 GT's there the same night as my friend and I that were running 14.3's or better. Point is... some people might run mid-14's, but unless you're a noob, driving an auto, or in TERRIBLE (worse than 80-90* FL weather) conditions, you shouldn't be running mid-14's. Is it possible that bolt-ons, gears (DR's would help, too, like Chris said), and good driver in a split port V6 would hang with a 99-04 GT in the 1/4? Yeah, but it's FAR from a guaranteed victory or foolproof formula. There are far too many variables, and that's working under the assumption that the V6's driver is superior to the GT's.
