you can get an M112 to fit under the stock hood with the scoop gutted... i know Tom "tomzac" did it as well as a few others on 3.8mustang.com ... if you get the SSMs M112 Adapter it will not fit, there adapter is fat and tall and a pain to work with... if you make your own you might be able to squish it in there and make it work... i would send tomzac a pm and see if he remembers how tall his was

There are people who have twin screws on the six including one guy in here just put a m112 on I think his name is p love or something like that.
As for clearance you will need a new hood. The stock one won’t work.
And yes a twin screw style s/c is better then a centrifugal one because there is no delay in power

Ive just done the M112 swap on my v6 the cars accually sitting at the shop to be tuned tommorow at 8am. the SSMS plate is bigger, but what tomzac did was he made his custom and he had to mess around with his fuel lines. ive tried to PM him a few times never goten a response so ya good luck with that

also, how big is the cowl on the blue car?

... yea... but ... they have the similar dimensions... if the m112 can fit, with a little magic you can wiggle the whipple or KB under there with out much trouble
