a b20 with a vtec head will smoke you a high compression b16 will smoke you a b16 gutted hatch with bolt ons will smoke you a k20 lol well lets not even talk about that motor s2000 will tear you apart LS vtec will tear you apart wow is that just a list of honda's that'll beat you now?
you have no grip on our car vs hondas or any car or anything for that matter youve been called out in the clubhouse and you continue being WRONG a new SI will dust a 99-04 v6 stock for stock end of story

the S2k's have the K24a in them don't they? same as the rsx's that came out a few years ago?? i believe thats what the engine is... also the D17's i think it was... not 16 but 17 ... horrible honda motors no potential at all... also i would like to note that my story a page or two back is true and the guy couldn't drive... he almost stalled it off the line...

And its hard to say would you take him. it depends on the chassis the engine is in. a b18 ls in an ef would tear him a new one, the same motor in a newer heavier chassis and the winner isn't as certain. virtually anything with a B series engine in it will most likely take you, either by a little, or by a lot. if he has a sohc vtec engine you have nothing to worry about. i dunno if you'd destroy him but you should still win. also it's vtec, not vtek, vtech, or vtak! stands for variable valve timing and lift electronic control. heres a video that illustrates how it functions Also GFaleen, technically your car doesn't have the equivalent. if you had VVTL-i , then it would :p Torres: what you said was true about the intake valves being held open longer, but that specifically applies only to sohc vtec engines, since the intake is held open longer but exhaust is not effected. with a dohc vtec engine not only are there seperate cams for intake and exhaust but each one independantly has the duration changed when vtec kicks in. This is why you really can hear vtec engage on b series/k series engines, but cannot on d series.

that is the point my point made if you consider a k20 or b20 vtec slow then what do you consider your car? those are potientially 12 second cars easy

Next time you race this 10psi jackson rsx, get a video. I don't think theirs a way in hell you can hang with it until 3rd gear.
