well just watch out cause when that vtec kicks in there will be so much power he may not be able to control it and he might run into you lol

very tall engine coolant

nah its something about valve control like valve timing engine control or something like that, it just switches cams to make valve timing different

my scion has the toyota equivalent VVT-i which stands for variable valve timing with intelligence

does he have a motor swap
vtec is way to complicated to explain. at a certain rpm the rocker arms for the intake valves lock to a middle rocker arm that rides on an even higher cam lobe letting the intake valve open longer and allowing more air in
but only on top end this way you dont have a flooding of air which is better for low end

just like exhaust piping if you go to big on the pipes you low end will suck but top end will be better. if you go to skinny then its reverse....well in vtec case its a perfect situation i case you can say. the 2010 mustangs plan to have the kind of tech in the valve terrain

you had better find out what vtec it is exactly
like if its a b16- you should have him in the city if your a 5 speed
if its a b18- sorry theres just no way without some kind of poweradder
a buddy of mine had a integra gs-r b18 vtec
full exhaust consisting of header lol, mid pipe of some kind and a fart cannon and cai
and COULD NOT TOP IT OUT at speeds of 140+++

there are plenty of VERY slow b18s
ive race b16 hatchs
b20s
and b18s really matters what it has
i lost to a b20 and won to a b20 when i was stock. but lost when i had bolt ons

they all need a vtec head

a b20 with a vtec head will probably need a power adder to take down
unless you have a serious all motor V6
