when I first got my 6 i ripped out the engine & dropped in a Roush 511IRFE with a rear turbonetics twin turbo system. it pumped around 1240hp with a bad tune. then i beat too many ls1s so they mauled me, stole all my work & put a 3.8 back in
now all i have is an air filter but im plannin on a full MAC exhaust lts back

too bad i already wasted all my money on an engine that got stolen

i can probably put 1g per month into the car, so the beginning of april im gon spend a thousand dollars into mods to start out, most ppl suggested CAI and dual exhaust as a first im not sure how much all that cost

depending on how u do the dual exhaust it can cost anywhere from 400 on up. If u get a kit it will be about 550-700 dollars for a basic cat back...and goes up from there...if u want u can get it custom made, have them cut right behind the cats, weld in pipes and ur choice of mufflers and nice tips for like 400, or if u have no emissions in ur state u can get long tube headers, and then either have them fab up an exhaust or get a shorty midpipe, i hear the h is the best for mids, and then get a cat back kit with a good set of mufflers.

For the cold air intake its best to just get a basic one, like a bomz, because u arent really gonna see anything from it unless u port and polish the upper and lower intakes (talk to itschristorres8 he has some really good deals) and get a bigger throttle body.

I would say exhaust, CAI with K&N filter, gears, tlok, and tuner are the best things to do first...its wat im planning on once the weather gets nice up here in ohio. Other good mods are sparkplugs/wires/coilpack, short throw shifters, aluminum driveshaft are all good supporting mods for when u really start building power

keep us informed on this stang cause with $1000 going into every month i would really like to see the outcome lol

3----cold air intake
4----nitrous

and than if you want to continue w/ more bolt on mods than do:

5----full exhaust(longtube headers, 2.5" o/r h-pipe and 2.5" catback)
6----25% underdrive pulleys
7----aluminum driveshaft

than after that you can get into internal engine work and big power adders like turbo/supoercharger
Nitrous before Exhaust? Nah. Leave NOS for the strip with a real drag car.
