Gauge self check

I just read somewhere and just tried myself something i hope could be useful to others. its a self check that you can monitor quite a few things really, engine temp in degrees celcius i belive, voltage to the tenth of a volt, mpg, tach, speedo, and it looks as if you can check trouble codes too, i have no codes so i couldnt verify, there is a bunch of other things i couldnt figure out as to what they were exactly.

to get this i had my key turned one click before any of the instrument lights came on, then i pressed down the trip meter reset button and held it down while i turned the key to on. continue to hold the button until it reads test then you can let off the button and start the car. just press the button to get all of the options.

hope this can be useful to someone. just figured id share since i thought it was pretty nifty
