Questions about Axle back & Cat back exhaust

I want to get a dual exhaust for my 2007 Mustang V6 & am keep reading about the different types. What exactly is the difference between the 2 & how do you know which you need?

You need and axle back... 05-XX Use axle back exhaust systems...

Cat-Backs were for XX-04 Mustangs...

also to explain the differences... it is basically in the name, the cat back is everything after the catalytic converters, and the axle backs are only the exhaust tubing, mufflers and tips (basically from where the axle is back).
