Maybe you don't understand.
If their isn't a point to getting rims that he likes or wants. (SINCE THEY ARE MOSTLY FOR LOOKS) why get them at all? Stock rims do just FINE for Daily Driving.

they do work fine, but to me rims are not just for looks....they are also to get a better tire for what they will be used for. Yes prostars are great cause they are light....but they are for drag racing where every extra lb matters. Basic 17s are fine for our cars. I like the 17x9 cause you can put a 275/40/17, which is plenty wide of a tire for our car. For a basic application 17x10.5 is TOO much...that is all im saying. If dd is all you are concerned about then 17x8/17x9 are fine. why get 17x10.5 when you can get a 15x10 wheel, huh? This is stupid, yur not taking physics into consideration...and trying to put drag racing into daily driving. How many people do you know with prostars on the daily driver car? Put whatever size wheels/tires you want, its not my car....i just gave intelligent advice.
