Actually, I've never taken it to the track or the dyno. Every time an opportunity arises, I break something. First, I blew the 1st engine. Then, I totaled it. After that, I blew the tranny. I also blew out the rear end. So I can't say for sure.

But, I am running about 10psi with the stock blower and jackshaft pullies. If I bring it between 5000 and 5500rpm, I can get it up to 11psi. I have a 5% overdrive jackshaft pully and a 10% overdrive blower pulley sitting in my garage. But I'd like to do a better job on the intercooler tubing before I install that.

It is a mustang block bored .030" over with a forged supercoupe crank, forged Eagle I-beam rods, Ross Forged Pistons, and Total Seal Gapless rings.

I had it tuned with SCT's X-Calibrator. The SCT dealer sent me a base file based on what mods I told him. I then fine-tuned it using my Innovate Motorsports LM-1 Wideband O2 sensor with RPM kit. It monitors RPM, AFR, MAF, IAT, and throttle position. I also bought the Pro Racer package so I have complete tuning capabilites.

http://www.sctflash.com/product_racer.php

So, I can tune for all throttle positions instead of just WOT like a dyno tune does.

I'm running 42# injectors, so it wouldn't run very well without a tune.

sct guys like vmptuning will use the wideband laptop software when dyno tuning. dyno tuning is always the best and safest option on power-added setups

I know the dyno tuning guys use a laptop with wideband software. I also use a laptop mounted in my car that uses wideband software to log when tuning and when driving normal.

I bought a book from SCT about tuning with the Pro Racer Package. To simulate the dyno, the car has to be under full load at WOT. So, they want you to put the car in 3rd or 4th at a crawl at idle. Then, you enter WOT until you reach the redline. Examining the log file afterwards allows you to retune and try the run again. It is essentially the same process as the dyno except you don't get HP and Torque numbers out of it.

So, not only do I use the same software when tuning, but I use it all the time to monitor how the engine is running. I can even make small changes quickly to account for weather or altitude. But, I do need to shut off the car to transfer the new program.
