im not happy with my flows. i had full duals with my flows and didnt like them so i went for a lil different set up and dumped em after the muffler. im still not too happy with how they sound. i havent heard pypes in person but they sound good in video.

ive decided that the sixer can never really sound "amazing" or anything so a soon as i get some cash, im gonna weld in some new mufflers that no ones tried on a sixer, like flowtech warlocks or hooker aerochambers lol

ok im looking at intercoolers.. the SC intercooler supposidly is garbage so im gonna make a custom set-up for one. im looking at intercoolers such as this one eBay Motors: 3" Universal BIG Turbo FMIC Front Mount Intercooler (item 290218539011 end time Apr-05-08 12:24:50 PDT)
with this piping kit eBay Motors: Universal 3.0" aluminium pipe kit Intercooler turbo 8pc (item 300212440049 end time Apr-07-08 21:15:30 PDT)

opinions?

edit: i have the black widow style body kit for my 96 also. i want the intercooler to look badass in the big opening in the front. my kit doesnt come with the fogs btw

i was reading up on FMIC... for some reason and i read that a 2.5 or a 2.75 would be more efficent for a lower horse power low boost build... ill see if i can find the math the guy did but i will try and find it

here try this,
Fourtitude Forums: FMIC surface area

those guys are currently discussing a front mounted inter cooler for a 12-14 psi turbo 1.8 litre engine ... a lot of there ideas are the same and tons can transfer over to help you

coastie...how is a front mount intercooler gonna work with your M90? Cooler the air first, then send it off to the blower?

They come with a side mounted inter cooler... basiclly the deal on that is it goes through the M90 and gets compressed and then is sent through the top part of the intercooler system, the pipe that routes it out... this happens cause the compressed air is deflected by a plate in the intake set up... after its cooled the air enters underneath this deflection plate

to be honest, i would suggest trying to re work the piping as much as possible for better flow, and get a cross section intercooler one that goes from top to bottom and exits on the same side

i know they have a intercooler but making a front mount can be done but it would be a pain

could be a pain yes, but it would look sweet too. remember im not tryin to have a fast as hell car.. im going to a good clean look and with my fron tbumper the way it is (black widow style) it would look really awesome with a fron mount intercooler. i might not see as much power due to more piping but i will definitely be happy with it overall

well i also know you don't want to spend a lot of money on this and i don't think that you can make a front mount with out spending large amounts of money on it.

for a universal kit... pre-bent piping and a front mount intercooler. you can always order pre bent pipes online and custom make you pretty much anything you need to involving piping

ya the part that is going to be hard is you need some way to Rough the air out of the blower to the intercooler then back to the engine.
