What gear ratio for a supercharged v6?


i have a 2000 v6 auto that i want to put a supercharger on. should i still use a 4.10? also, should i upgrade to an 8.8" rear end?

an 8.8 is a good idea.

and it depends on what kind of blower your getting.

roots / twin screw or centerfugal?

definitely do not get 4.10's Look at every mustang magazine, even with centris they say its way too radical. If you want to have a nice street car put 3.73's in, you would probobly be faster with them as well.

for auto go 3.73.. upgrade to the 8.8 also

A buddy of mine just installed 4.10s on his 5-speed 06 gt. Its drives just fine. And the thing jumps like a mofo when he hits second on the gas. It flys threw gears fairly quickly...haha.

4.10s will be fine, with an 8.8, you shouldnt run out of gear even with the s/c
