Rim Sizes

What is the LARGEST size rim i can put on my 2001 V6? Its ALL stock suspension no spacers or anything like that. Also, what offset, and spacing between bolts is needed to make them fit?

17s are all you need, but ive seen 20s that looks REALLY good on new edge mustangs. Dont be stupid tho....if you go about 17s, upgrade yur brakes or yur gonna have so much extra rotational mass to stop....your stock brakes wont be able to do it.

8 inches wide up front
10.5 inches wide in the rear... if thats what your looking for

18 inches is the largest recommended size by mm.com but you can go up to 22 if you wanted...

and
as far as lug pattern and offset go im not to positive but it it says that its for 94-04 mustang then it will fit your car... the 05 and up have different offsets and you need different rims

honestly over 17 looks blah, 17's are great and you dont have to worry about anything, plus performance wise they are your best bet

yeah, typo baker...i meant above

anything wider than 9in is retarded too unless you are putting crazy HP to the ground. 10.5 in wide to fir a 315 tire is a whole lot of added weight that is unnecessary. You guys never take physics into consideration when think bigger is better.

If you want to be all show and no go...then get ridiculously wide tires.

I plan on sprayin once i get my j-mod & tranny cooler + bigger brakes, and a few suspension things.

275/40/17s are almost a foot wide....how much wider do you need?

and the air you put into a 315 tire has weight ya know....plus the extra weight of the tire itself, then plus the 1.5" of cast aluminum for the wheels...

yeah yur easily adding about another 20lbs PER wheel.

lol v6 i mean a 275 is all you need, but there is nothing more intimidating IMO then pulling up on a car and seeing some massive wide tires in the back
