if you have 2.25 piping buy that one. ( stock is 2.25 for a 6er ) if your mid pipe is 2.50 but that one

just choose the right cat for your new mid pipe then.
a 2.25 will not bolt on to a 2.5 and visa versa

awesome. Get yourself some LTs, then have a catted shorty mid-pipe fabbed (i assume that what yur doing anyway), and then get whatever mufflers you want. 2.25 piping if you dont have plans to really open it up. 2.5 piping if you plan on it.

technically you "can" step up from a 2.25 cat to 2.5 piping....but why would you want to put a bottle neck in?
