Blown Amp

I just blew my amp this weekend. Its a Pioneer 800W amp. I got it from best buy with the 4 year warranty. But they dont carry my amp anymore, if anything, they'll upgrade it to something else or give me the money that i paid for it. If they do that what would be a good amp to buy. My amp is around $100..

a good amp by power output? or a good amp by a good brand amp. if you want cheap power you can get a 2000w american legacy amp for around 150. But if you want a GOOD amp....(personally from recommending my brother to getting one)...soundstream makes amazing amps. Go on ebay and see if you can pick up one of their tarantula series for cheap.

getting a like 300 watt amp from alpine, memphis, rockford,or kenwood would be the equivalent of like a 2000 watt cheap crap amp from walmart. 300 watt alpine is like 300 dollars brand new.

Soundstream

My brother has an 800w tarantula series one....and it pushes 2 12" Infinity Kappa Perfects VERY nicely. No heating issues or anything.

Soundstream makes VERY good quality stuff...we have 2 12" soundstream T5 subs and a soundstream picasso series 1000w mono amp in the stang and it thumps hard....the magnets on the subs will literally mess up a crt screen from like 1.5 feet away...they weigh about 45 lbs apiece...but take it from personal experience...soundstream is the shit!!
