welcome to the forums.

99-04 is basically the same mustang so all the tech you see is valid towards your 99.
a TT will make more power but it is much more expensive and harder to tune

what kind of budget do you have? And 99-04 like Hmusn said is the same car pretty much. And a single turbo is probably more efficient

+1 listen to Doc he's the man. I plan on a TT setup. However, if you're going to do that then you need to get a built motor. A 4.2L stroker will make you a lot faster. If you don't want to go that route a single turbo and a SC are near the same price range. I personally think the turbo is a better system of boost, but you should do your research and decide which one you prefer. There are also several MUCH less expensive mods that will make you less dramatically faster. Some examples are a tuner (go with SCT or Sniper), 4.10 or 3.73 gears, t-lok, UD pulleys, ported and polished intakes and heads. There are others all well. The other thing to consider is N20. It is a very cheap way to see a dramatic power increase. The only problem with it is that it is only temporary power, and you need to make sure that you don't over use it. I hope this has been helpful. I'll try to answer any other questions that you might have.

It depends what you are looking to do with your car. s/c or turbo are both great power adders to the V6.

What is this "need" a built motor. You don't NEED a built motor for anything except a 200shot.

The stock motor can safely take between 6-8psi 10 psi is bleeding edge...No one is going to do a twin setup with boost that low. It would be pointless. You could just use a single turbo for less money and less headache. So yeah for a TT setup with boost between 15-20psi...yes you do need a built motor.

That is unless you want to shoot a rod through your hood when you slam on the gas.

Unfortunately they don't make them anymore. You'll have to have one custom made. However you can get a single turbo kit for about $4K.
