mufflers...

whats up guys.. what does everyone think of dynomax mufflers... or in general i mean me persoanlly after hearing borlas from a friend, no name but his stangs red and supercharged haha im hooked.... anyone have any other opinions on mufflers

well, I feel that chambered mufflers have a decent sound till you hit 3k rpm... then they just flatten out and sound like total poo...

i haven't heard dynomax, at least i don't think i have

i love dynomax sound (as well as some of the flowmaster products). but it has been proven time and again that warlock open setup, bassani, borla, and magnaflow outperform those mufflers.

imo, go for the sound on your car, but do consider the sound of the better performance

Yeah I'd like to see that video of him beating a 350Z...Cuz I'm not gonna believe it till I see it. I also don't believe that he ran a 14 in the quarter. But I do agree with him that it isn't bad to have a V6 if you put some mods into it.

i just wanna say plus 1 to this...

and again... im done recommending mufflers, i strongly dislike mine above 3k... so much so that i don't even get the engine up there any more

Hey OMZ you have original 40's? I have the 40 deltas and I LOVE them. Maybe that's why flowmaster replaced the original 40's with the deltas. Cuz mine sound great at both low and high RPM.

The dynomax ultraflow sound pretty good....and are actually fairly quiet up until higher RPMs...but sound good. I never heard the super turbos tho. And flows def suck balls.

yeah. i rarely get above 2500 rpms anymore. the mac long tubes, off road H, and magnapacks is insanely loud and deafening. it sucks that the 4.10s put me at 3k rpms at 75. i about blow my ears off for the 2 hour drive home from college!

Standing behind my car while my buddy revved it...didn't sound bad at all through any of the rpm ranges of the 4.0L. I went with the h-pipe and 40's.
