which is best on our v6 stangs the 40s the super 40s or super 44s........

If your going flows, then the 40 series. 44 Are a little quiter I believe.

I prefer pypes over flowmaster, but thats a personal preference.

40's series are not louder than super 44's. super 44's are advertised as their loudest in their line of chambered mufflers. on the flowmaster website they have a little bar on the side telling loudness and such.

Its all personal preference but to me pypes = sound like a tractor with and o/r midpipe. I know a guy who has their full kit with the o/r x and yeah it sounds terrible, but again just personal preference. Flows FTW!!!!!!

has anyone actually done a comparison test with 40's and 44's. It would be great to see a side by side test to test them out. either way, I really love my super 44's.

i just have the 40's they sond pretty good in the lower range, the upper range isnt the greatest at times

I have the 40 deltas I think they sound awesome at all RPM ranges. no popping, and no rice burning.

My setup is as follows: stock headers, stock cats, pace setter H-pipe conversion kit, Flowmaster American Thunder 40 Delta true dual catback w/2.5" stainless tips.

the super 40's sound very burly, its doesn't have that ricey sound to it i just got it on my v6 mustang true dual loud, very loud
