Throttle Response

Ok well i dont know if everyone has this problem, but it feels to me that i have the crappiest throttle response ever. My accelerator feels like its really look and most of the time my car doesnt respond when i do floor it. I mean my friends Buick Regal has way better throttle response than my car. Why? and how can i fix this? Also, what is a J-Mod?

Clean/new air filter, and a CAI will help it. Jmod is a shift kit for an auto tranny

Is it hard to install by yourself? Because i have an auto and it feels like when im redlining, the shifting is horrible. Someone told me that some tuners have a type of shift kit in them. is that true?

+1 that,

and a tuner would help a lot,
with more aggressive spark timing, air-fuel ratios & snappier shifts.
underdrive pulleys would help also.

keeps you from hurting your engine

but from the sounds of it you need to do a tranny flush, but a jmod is a harder install if your not comfortable opening your tranny take it to someone
and a tuner can increase line pressure and help shifting

Your suffering auto lag...tuner and shift kit is what you need
