2004 Mustang CAI

Ok i was going to start modding my stang a while ago but something came up. Anyway i have some cash now and plan to start. I was looking for a CAI for a 2004 but most all i seen all go up to 2003. If someone can help me find one or post a link that would be awesome. I was planing on getting a true dual exhaust, CAI, Gears and Tlok, Underdrive pulley, and tuner. Hows my list looking. I have enough money to buy all of it now and more and was wondering what you guy thought. Plzz help me with the CAI. Thanks!

StangMods Mustang Cold Air Kit

MAC Straight Shot Induction for 99-04 V6

MAC Cold Air Intake

I'd go with the first link... says it fits an 04...

didn't know the 04's were different than the 99-03

thas why i say get the CAI later. tied together with other mods it helps the car breathe better. but there is no use in buying one of those expensive ass ones, wouldnt spend much more than around 60 if not less on one.

can i just say something and this get stickied?!

CAI'S ARE USLESS!!

think about it you have a metal tube in a hot engine bay... what the metal going to do heat up! and what does this do? defeats the fucking purpose of drawing in colder air... besides, its no colder then the air being sucked in by the stock set up minus the air silencer

well ur list as u had it is

true dual exhaust, CAI, Gears and Tlok, Underdrive pulley, and tuner.

i would get exhaust, gears & tlok, then work from there if i was doing it all over again. i dont believe in the underdrive pulleys but that is strictly my opinion. a tuner is somethin good to have bc that will help ur mods all work together and get more hp out of em. what are ur future plans for the car?

if ur not doing forced induction, eventually cai is a good thing...better airflow, and the air really doesnt stay in the tube long enough to hurt it

does basically nothing

makes a whoosh sound, and my stock exhaust sounded a little better after I put mine in... not much of a difference, but a little deeper

In order...

Tuner
Gears/Tlok
Wheels and Tires
Exhaust (catback or full)

no amongst this list if you have a hole burning in your pocket get either a shifter or new headlights or performance coil pack ...

but really a CAI? wanna know how to make your car just as loud with out the money? take the air silencer off... in fact, i think i will go do that right now to mine and see if there is a difference
