got a problem


when im driving along i hear a squeak coming from my front driver side wheel area....the faster i go the faster it squeaks it almost sounds like a cricket chirping but its like theres somethin in one spot cuz it will go like......squeak....tire rotates....squeak....and like the said, the faster i go the faster it squeaks...anyone got any ideas?

yea i wonder why tho...i just replaced them...

...also once i press the brake the chirping stops...which leads to me to think that yes it does have something to do with the brakes

same problem here i no its the brakes

try doin this take the wheel off and the caliper and compress the pistons a little bit put the pads back in and the sell stuff you can spray on the front and back of the rotor (brake Quiet) put it back together and it should stop ..

i did it to a friend of mines car in his case it was the backs and it worked

pad is loose reposition it and get it seated properly

did you do the proper braking in on the brakes, if you pound on them right after you put them in then they could get crystalized over, not sure if that'd cause a squeak though

Did you ever get the problem corrected? I have the same cricket noise from the right front. Just lowered and added 20's so figured I screwed up something so thought I would ask how things turned out for you?
