Window problems

Hey guys, i got a problem with my driver's side window. I have a 2000 v6, and i was pulling it out today and i turned the battery on for a second and the window wouldnt roll down. I turned the car on and then it rolled down. I was about to wash it so i needed to roll it up but even when i turned the car on and battery it still refuses to roll up. It sounds like when i push the window button down (theyre power windows) its clicking like it would roll down, but when i push the button for it to roll up it does not make any clicking noise or react at all. So im stuck with the window down and have no clue what to do. Do you guys have any ideas about how to fix it? Any help is appreciated, thanks.

correct.

it's very simple to get to.

if you notice where you grab the door (not the handle) there will be an indentation .. just put a flat head screw driver in there and the piece will pop up. then it's 2 screws(phillips I believe) and 2 clips ( for the electric connector) to get the switch out.

i opened up the panel and took a good look at the wiring, how far down is the connector to hook up a new switch? do i need to remove the whole door panel?

once you get that off ( the whole blue piece and nothing else) you will see 2 spots to put a phillips head screw driver.. unscrew those 2 screws and undo the electrical connections. the switch will fall out into your hand.

then just bring the switch to ford ( yes ford.. it's a dealer only part) and get a new one.

before i take all of this off, im looking at the panel of switches, are you sure i cant just replace the drivers side window switch because it looks like it comes apart, rather than taking the whole panel of switches apart
