Getting a new 6er!

okay guys, so ive decided to just trade my old 96 in and get the 99-04 body style which i like better anyway. im going tomorrow to orlando to look at a 2004 5 speed v6 with 43k miles on it. its blue with smoke gray/black interior and they are asking 12k for it. what should i expect to get out of my vehicle for a trade in and also what should i look for on this car as far as whats wrong with it before i buy it. considering that i am driving two fucking hours to go look at it lol and what do you guys consider a decent finance percentage rate?? Appreciate all info peeps!

12k is way too much.

They're selling an orange 04 GT here for 14k.
Low miles, perfect.

I wish I had the money....I always wanted an orange gt..

For that price, I'd sell you my cammed 03 V6 5 speed with 19k miles on it.

Rims, lowered, cobra front, gt rear, exhaust, cam, etc...

you wont find a 99 cobra for 12k unless it has a shit ton of mileage on it....remember that the cobras are a numbered vehicle.

but any mach youll find will be at least 5k more than an equal mileage 99/01 cobra. the cobra is just an axle swap and 3.55 gears away from running the same times as a mach anyways

yeah but the revised heads on the 03/04 are pretty much the second best head available for that engine.....that makes it much more worth it. And for a 3 or 4 year newer car.....5k more to spend on it is worth it....less age on the vehicle.....thats how i think atleast
