last exhaust question for me


so im getting an dual mac exhaust system.
what do you prefer a h or x pipe and o/r or wth cats?
and is it hard to install mac long tube headers?

H-with cats, x with no cats would just be a big ball of rasp

and long tubes arent that hard

I prefer x, more raspy tone, sounds meaner.
o/r if you can pass inspection without it.

well i have always liked the x pipe more but so many people have a h-pipe so i was like what should i get. but i like to sound mean lol
and what inspections. i live in florida and have never got "inspected"

on a 6 the x is all rasp, you cant hear the engine just a loud buzz

why does it have that like wanna be honda sound lol?
is that just the camera because its loud and i like it. but does it sound good to you guys?

All v6s get ricey on the higher rpms, haha. Get used to it.

Don't buy a cam until you've decided for sure what your future engine plans are. It would suck to have to buy another one.

What do you guys think about striaght pipes?. My friend said I would lose torque and less power.

get a crossover bar and that will keep some of the torque you would loose your just moving your power up the rpm band

mine doesnt sounds ricey....the side exit mufflers give a completely different sound than straight through or chamber mufflers tho.
