its all pretty simple till you get to expert turbo talk... if you have questions about that stuff, then you will have to ask garrett them selves or someone who has experience with turbos... aka torres

First off thank you Cricket and 3.8coastie for spreading the name you guys are great and i will remember you. i always do

as for my opinion

to beat a GT(beat by 1-2-3 cars) the cheapest way: Nitrous, intake and exhaust.
then work from there

probably the funest way and more powerful way
deffinitly TURBO or s/c
a turbo will really blow them away and has potiential to take cobras and even the GT-500 on the stock motor considering a tune, how much boost and supporting mods.

s/c will take the GTs for sure. theres bolt guys with prochargers running low 13s to low 14s with gears and a good tire. i've even seen 109mph traps in the 1/4 stock bottom and top end.

if you want to go the n/a way
a 4.2/4.3L motor is the best way to go to really BEAT them.
you can go with a forged bottom, high compression good enough for pump gas, ported cylinder heads and ported intakes as well. that should have you running in the higher 13s with the right tire and gears.

I might be able to take ya after I get some track experience. I dunno. We'll have to see.

Remember that full bolt ons, plus gears will get you to beat stock GT's of your model. You may not make as much power, but your lighter, and with the acceleration that gears give really makes a difference.
i should see 13.7ish in aboiut a week
