Strange sticky thing in my windshield

The other day, i was getting my car (2006 V6 convertable stang) washed and detailed, and the dipasses came and said there is a slight problem... Long story short, there is a strange white sticky strip at the base of my windshield on the inside that they somehow pulled loose. Its a white strip that goes at the very bottom of the windshield and runs along the entire bottom.I took my car to the dealership and they said they have never seen it before. Have any of yall ever seen this thing before?

im guessing its probably the glue or sealant that holds the window in place.

i finally got a pic. i know its bad but maybe you can see it. its the white strip under the yellow state inspection sticker

it was listing 80 degrees... it didnt capsize. not sure what caused it to list but it did

one of those rubber strips had been glued to the inside base of my windshield. i dunno why, but thats what it was. noone at ford knew what it was, so i took it to a windehield shop
