List of full bolt-ons:

I've been racking my brain on this one. (not really, just sounded good.)

What would you guys consider full bolt-ons. Im asking because it always seems like people give different lists when different people ask the exact same questions on this board.

Give your list of full bolt-ons/what you consider full bolt-ons. Don't get into f/i or anything.

You get the idea.

Go.

I would agree with Chris(always a good idea) except minus the headers. LT's are illegal in a lot of states(including mine), and shorties don't really get you anything(unless you're getting a turbo).

I still say LTs are bolt ons, considering so many people run 'em.

I'm not saying that they aren't bolt ons...I just don't think you have to have them to be considered to have a full bolt on car.

i still never heard of someone failing a visual inspection because of LTs UNLESS it was because they were catless.

excluding CA, cause they are all crazy out there.

here is my opion

headers
exhaust
cai
ud pulleys
coil pack
plugs
plug weirs
Gears and t-lock
Aluminum drive shaft
Shift kit/ j-mod or short throw shifter ( depending if you are stick or auto)
Aluminum fly wheel or tq converter (again depending on tranny type)
Upgraded coil pack
A tune (may want to wait till after the split port swap)

Some suspension stuff
Upper control arms
Lower control arms
Springs
shocks / struts
Sub frame connectors
strut / shock tower brace

Weight reduction
Rear seat delete
Relocate the battery
a/c delete

for better track times slicks and skinies

a torque convert or aluminum flywheel requires a transmission jack
you can do it with out one but a auto tranny is HEAVY

IMO an aluminum flywheel would be just as much of a bolt on heads swaping heads almost

I think you missed the point of the thread. I was unaware that you bolted on these parts

any why would long tubes not be a bolt on? we arent talking about street legality; we are talking about a full bolt on car. long tubes (as the rest of the exhaust system) bolts on and are an easy mod.

i disagree, maybe because i have always considered headers a basic bolt on. even though they are hard to put in

my idea of a bolt on is something that goes on the "outside" of the engine. I.E. anything otehr than like cams, pistons, and FI. I dont consider nitrous a bolt on though.
