Discussing 215 hp in the V6 Mustangs Forum. thats my goal by mid summer with a 400$ a month budget is it possible?...

215 hp

i could squeez out more then 400 if i need to! i could go up as far as 800!

its possible. split port swap, windstar intake, underdrive pulley should put you there. take to christorres8 about all of the above cept for the UDP which you can get through VMP Tuning Inc

edit: is this crank hp or rwhp you want?

ive been wondering the same thing. i have an 88 tbird (3.8L v6) and have been thinking bout pimping it

the 94-98 stangs had single port heads, the 99-04 have split port heads. you stang has 150 crank hp while a 99-04 has 190... you swap to split port and gain 40 hp.. go to CRT RACING PERFORMANCE | for more info and such

215 to the wheels will take more than i have listed.. you will need a good amount of bolt ons for that. the things i listed is definitely a good start

ok for 215 to the wheels,
P&P split port swap (maybe a windstar swap but you will need a new hood.)
exhaust
aluminum drive shaft
tune
ud pulleys
that should get you close

you will need a windstar swap with P&P lower, as well as some P&P heads, and maby some valve train work
