it's usually suggested that you change your oil after you do it.

I've never heard of doing that. I've heard of crank case gas tank and PCV valve.

BTW you should change your oil within a few hundred miles of seafoaming. You may not get the full benefits of the seafoam if you don't really drive around afterwards. However, it certainly won't hurt anything.

You mean feeding it through the brake booster hose into the engine?

Look man use the search function to look up seafoam threads...there are like 100000 of 'em. Most will tell you to put it in you PCV valve.

+1

if you look at the brake booster line, it would enter the intake on the one side and only feed those cylinders, but your PCV would enter right behind the throttle body, which would feed all 6

some cars the brake booster works, but for our intakes, use the pcv

and you do want to drive about 300-500 miles to get the full benefit of seafoam in your oil, but no, would not harm to change it sooner...

i think the main reason it says to use that line is bc on the seafoam website its says for 4 cylinder engines and such which means they prolly on need one side, but bc we have the V the pcv makes it distribute to both sides as italistang said

straight from the site>>>>

100% Pure Petroleum
Use in All Engines in All Seasons
2 Cycle, 4 Cycle, and Diesels
Treats 3 Critical Areas: Gas Tank, Fuel Systems, and Crankcase

thas why it doesnt make room for the v6s even tho it does the same thing

they mean 4 cycle, not 4 cylinder. but you are right, they say brake booster, but mostly because on most cars it is the most common way to feed all cylinders...

it all just depends on how the intake manifold is set up
