99 Mustang engine rebuild done
I posted this earlier, but again here are pictures from the rebuild that might be useful in assembling a 3.8L V6 engine
swalch - Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting The final problems are now resolved. Apparently I damaged the throttle body linkage with the chain while installing the engine, which resulted in a very fast idle. Also the fuel pump failed shortly after getting it running again. With a new throttle body and fuel pump it runs perfectly now. I also took the opportunity to clean out the gas tank which had some water in it. |
