the fuel regulator can present it self as what seams like a week/bad fuel pump, after replacing 3 pumps and still havening the same problem (for him it was dieing on him while driving and not really any start problems)

what is the computer set up / built in chock set up on that car, because if something is wrong with that it might not be giving enough fuel on start up

the motor is the exact same thing as a single port mustang

i had the same EXACT problem in my lebaron, i cleaned the throttle body with cleaner, took it on 79, slammed through the gears, and it worked fine. So basically i have no clue on how to fix ur problem and am just taking up space.

maybe just a good beating on will fix it?
hell worked with my dirtbike, went from not running unless you have full throttle, then very sluggish, to wooping bigger bikes with a week of beating on it

i would just like to say that i am not going to post in this thread cause that would just increase the amount of stumpage in this thread ALTHOUGH my car had a very very similar problem... i reset the computer and replaced a good portion of the fuses cause i couldn't figure anything else out... after about 3 months, it just... went a way

if you know about where you fuel pump is in the gasket tank. bang that section a few times pretty hard. then try starting and see what happens

i dont think its the fuel pump really though...might be i just dont think you'd be able to start the car though.

idk Doc im thinking and not much is happening. i can get some better ideas tomorrow for you
