So a buddy of mine has a stock 03-04 v6 mustang,its automatic too... and hes getting ready to race it at the track today......

what do you guys think his quarter mile time will be?

My guess is 16's

id say the same...their suppose to get 15.5 but if its his first time at the track he shouldnt do that good

yeah, his is the late 40th ann. with the 3.9L

if he can launch and has slicks he could see mid 15's first time out he wont see under a 16.3

if he launchs good on the street tires with the one wheel peel he can manage 15s for sure. he'll probably need to launch at like 1000rpms

Josh, since you have those headlights, id probobly give you a 12.3. That is, if they are hooked up properly. Other and that, 16.3-16.5

yeah....he ran 16.3-16.5 all day.

he done awsome for his first time going on the track.
very fast reaction times and never got the red light for jumping it.
and he won a few races,then he started racing stuff that was in the 11's and down.lol

I done pretty awsome myself yesterday, the track was hooking perfect for me.

yea, i was gonna say 16.5. thats what i ran stock but that was with 18 x 9s saleens in front and 18x10s in the back
