h-pipe/x-pipe question


ok so wats the ponit of havin the h/x pipe why cant i just ruin ture dual pipes

u can if u want...its mostly just a small difference in sound and possibly helps with equalizing pressure on an extremely small level

By running a x or h pipe you will have a true dual setup.

h and x pipes help equalize the flow and they will smooth out your idle. gas tends to take the easiest exit which is normally bank one, which is passenger side on a ford. So you will have a bit more exhaust exiting through your passenger side pipe than your drivers side, the mid pipe remedies this
