Dashboard question???

Hey guys I'm going to be doing some painting on my interior soon. However, before I do I want to get my dash and my steering wheel nice and clean. I've heard that you should never use armorall cuz it will cause your dash to crack over time. My car is kinda old and is kept outside...so I'm looking for something that will clean well, but won't damage my car. Any suggestions?

no armorall will be fine, they just say not to use it on objects that recieve direct sun a lot bc they will dry up and crack....me personally have used it in a lot of spots on the car and i have yet to see anything crack at all

Vinylx is an awesome product, however do not use in on the steering wheel because it will slip out of your hands turning
