you know what... i think ur right. b/c when i got into my 2nd car accident i had to slam my brakes like the hardest i have ever slammed them in my life. so that could be it. i changed the front ones cuz they were messed up, but can the brakes mess up that bad in the rear b/c i only thought like 40% of braking was done from the rear brakes and the front ones are what take the biggest load.

which could be my problem if the my wheel is getting hot...the pad could be sticking and heating the rotor so hot that its warped...

Sure, they ought to be able to.

If the wheel is hot, that could be an indication of the pads dragging on a warped rotor.

dang this sucks. i guess i have no choice but to change the rotors. do u think i should change the pads as well? the pads are still thick as hell and they are practically new, but if the rotor is warped then the pads are prob off then too huh?

if the pads arent messed up im sure they would just take a lil bit and create a new wear pattern

alright i just called that place up there to see if i had warrenty or whatever on em and the guy said its not ur rotors. he said if it was ur rotors it would vibrate and do other stuff. he said its the pads. he said check and see if there is like a small piece of metal hanging off the pad or something or try and putting new brake compound stuff on the contact points. he said if that dont work to call him back. so ima try taking them apart again and putting new compound stuff on and maybe lightly brush the surface of the pads. ill prob do this either later today or tomorrow and tell u how it goes.

ok i just got done cleaning everything again with brake cleaner and reapplying brake compound on the contact points and anti seize on the caliper bolts. its still doing the same damn thing. so i guess there is nothing left but to replace the pads and rotors. ima call the place i got it from and see if they will give me a discount or something since my brakes and rotors are barely 3 months old.

Bring it to the guy & ask him to check it over, he should be a professional & not leave you with a problem!

check your ebrake. i drove probly 10 miles in my lebaron scratching my head because i kept hearing this whistleing/squeaking/killmyself noise, then i look down and my ebrake was engaged. That says two things: 1. I am a retard. 2. My ebrake is shit.

the dude installed them right cuz i took em off and put them back on about three times and its still doing it. i think its just a combo of both the pads and rotors. since i slammed the brakes that one time it probably messed up something. ima prob change em so ill let u kno whenever i figure it out.

ok i figured out what was wrong. the dumbass who installed my brakes forgot to put those metal clips that go on the top and bottom of the pads on the rear. he didnt put them on the rear pad so thats why it was squeaking. i called him and told him and he got me new ones. i ended up changing the pads and rotors on all four corners and no more noise.
