so it doesnt really matter if i have 35s all around or should i go 40 and 35?

35 is a smaller and stiffer sidewall, not by much but it's all about YOU...


do you want a less noisy comfortable ride...


or a corner tearing more responsive ride.

yes, if you go with 245's in front, but if you have 275's all around then it would be fine.
because 35 is % it is derived from the with so a 245/40 tire has a side wall that is 40% of 245mm witch would = a side wall hight of 98mm
and a 245/35 tire has a side wall hight of 87.5mm

i think anything over 10.5 is overkill and doesnt look good

you dont want 275s on all 4 wheels im tellin ya first hand. They will pull toward every groove and bump. It a pain in the ass especially in teh rain when they pull towards grooves/bumps cause no you have to worry about hydroplaning.

245/40/18 in the FRONT
275/35/18 in the REAR

i agree that for a car that only sees normal street driving or the 1/4 having smaller tires up front is a good set up.
but for hardcore cornering wider tires help. so having to deal with that pull is something you would be willing to sacrifice .

yeah, so if it not gonna be a DD, then you wont want wide tires on all 4.
