Manual Valve Bodies

Transgo has two different shift kits for our 4r70w trannies, one is basic street/strip. The other is a full manual that says "full manual control". If you get the full manual version, what do you think/know happens when you put it into "D". Because my tranny, and i assume all 4r70ws, will start out in 2nd gear from a dead stop if the shifter is placed in the "2" position. So basically its the same as a full manual. Am i missing somthing? Im just kinda curious because i ordered my Hammer Rachet shifter and the thought of Full Manual sounds pretty tempting.

Thanks,

Wood

I've never had nothing but trouble from transgo kits, the full manual is a nitemare for DD too if you just put it in D it will stay in 4th, any shift kit will give you the abilty to have manual control but the transgo full manual takes away all automatic usage
