I dont think it is a good deal...

Yeah its low miles but you can grab a 97/98 Cobra for less and have more power...

The 99 had issues but it is still fast...

The 96 was the first year of the 4.6 DOHC in the Cobra's...The 93-95 Cobra were 5.0's...Which are good engines but dont make as much power as the 4.6's...

Me personally if i was getting a Cobra it would ahve to be 96+ and would prefer the 03/04 Terminators...

The 98 is too high IMHO...

You can grabd a terminator for 20K - 26K...

I know right now where there is a 600+ rwhp Kenne Bell Cobra for 26K right now...

I also know where there is a Bone stock 03 CObra for 20K with under 20k miles...

I'd say no, it's not. It's a great car, but I bought my 96 cobra 3 months ago for 7500 w/only 60K mi on it and it's not some POS either - it's won at two car shows already. So you can find low mileage 96-98 4.6L cobras out there in great condition, you just have to be patient and the right deal will come.

Dude with only 45k.... it's priced pretty steep but might be worth the money. If you plan on leaving it stock and not doing much with it - is probably a good buy. If you plan on modding it though the mileage isn't as attractive since you'll be replacing parts anyways.
