Help (V6 Gearing)

is there any way to change a v6 auto gear ratio... if so what should i get\do..

I was interested in doing a complete upgrade on my auto '95 V6. Trying to get some ideas for what all that can be done to increase performance for minimal cost..Any ideas?

What all would need to be added get these "features". Any cost estimates/links would be greatly appreciated.

yes you can upgrade the gear ratio on an auto...4.10s or 4.30s are good...for your car 4.10s are fine.

tell me how much hp your looking for and i'll set u up wiht a good list from there...

hp doesnt come cheap

200hp...you wana add 200hp or have your car at 200hp?
k
well gears i'd say get 3.73s(has nothing to do with hp but it'll be good and doesnt seem like you want a whole lotta hp anyway) it'll also be a slight bit more gas friendly
also add t-lok

mods:
Full exhaust with long tubes
SCT XCAL2
CAI
throttle body(optional)
and underdrive pulleys.
with that your car should be at 200hp

if you wana add 200hp
then all that
plus....
cam, p/p heads
supercharger

im staying all motor and aiming for 300hp give or take 10-20hp
im getting everything i sed in the first liist of mods but then upgrading stage 3,...ported and polished cylinder heads, ported and polished upper and lower intake manifolds, and SSM reground or custom CompCams billet hydraulic roller cams
or stage 2...idk yet

well if you plan on added a lot of hp, you will want to research doing an 8.8 swap from a like year GT or buy a new 8.8 from FRPP, which will bolt right up.

also, if you want a lot of power, consider buying a block to build and forge while you drive your car. then throw on the power adder of choice, work on the suspension and drivetrain, bolt it in, get it tuned, enjoy. your budget will determine your realistic goals though.

^also a smart option
or a stroker kit is also good ive heard, there was a stock v6 on here with a stroked engine and he put out i think he sed...220,230 or more i think...around that area tho which is good

if not you can put a stage 2 or 3 kit on your car..which is what im doing and maybe some forged rods and pistons
