Yeah it gives you something to talk about, but it still doesnt accomplish anything so...really what is the point.

Its just a hypothetical question....maybe the thread starter is trying to decide if putting a turbo on his v6 is worth it?

super six motorsports, head cam intake kits and a turbo. You will stay below 10k and stilll knock your bro out of the water. They also have 3.8 to 4.3 stroker kits if you can afford the whole setup plus turbo, your brother will be swappin from eaton to kenne belle to keep up with you. Just keep in mind a 6 is a 6 and v-8s can always catch up and pass us when the mods addup.

hes saying so much money on insurance anyways just by having a sixxer instead of gt, mach, or cobra

true but it seams to me that a v6 seams better for a modded dd street car then a modded out v8

well like a gt it aint so bad but like a cobra thats 20 grand with that i could have a 600 horsepower v6 for way less.I mean if its a track car i would say v8 and also for slight modding but it seams if you actually get into the modding like turbos and superchargers and shit it seams liike for the money you spend and the power you get it makes for sense to get a v6
hard for me to explain

i understand...ive always thought that it would be cheaper to buy a new sixer and put all the gt 500 parts in it and itd be just as fast and badass

plus youd sell the old parts like engine and trasmission

and insurance would be cheaper lol

it would be cheaper until they realize u have a v8 under the hood....and if ya get in a wreck they could refuse to work with u bc of the falsification of what ur policy is covering if they dont know.
