'06 v6 vs '99 cobra svt: Is it possible?

Is there any way in hell that I could get my car to beat my brother's '99 cobra?
I dont want s/c or n2o, but turbo is a definate.
Along with a turbo kit, what else do I need? ex: 8.8 diffs, etc...?

oh hell ya man. Any mods yet? im not real educated on the sixers but with a turbo an 8inch rear some 373 and bolt ons i think it would be a damn nice race. is your bro modded?

if you build your motor to hold 12-14lbs of boost, that's all you'll need.

Edit - you have an '06, I thought '04. So you won't even need that much, probably 8-10lbs of boost.

With a powerhouse turbo kit, 8.8rear end and a tune you should blow him out of the water... [if your stock]

99s arent that fast
you'd be taking 03-04s with that setup

we are both completely stock. his came with a blower if that makes any difference.

+1, i always hear about people saying "im turboing my v6" but i only kno of a hand full that actually do. But 99 cobras are just dohc 4.6 w/o an eaton right? good luck and video tape the race if you can.

more than two people have turboed there v6 and yea some of them are just bull shiting but some are actualy doing it and some had the plans to but shit came up who cares if they dont actual do it it gives all of us something to talk about so who gives a fuck

if he bought it with a supercharger that means the guy b4 him put it on...only the 03/04 come with a s/c from the factory
