It's bolt-on, the worst part you probably will have to cut off the factory catback. Other than that, everything else bolts on.

it wont...thats why u need a certain H-pipe... and so it fits...

if your replacing the entire exhaust which is wat is sounds like..there isnt even that much cutting...you wont have to cut a single pipe. just the hingdes that hold them, take of the exhaust manifolds(stock headers, there not called headers really if its stock..)
then proceed to the back...then install your long tubes, and work backk

if you want theres a write up the AB did about installing long tubes...its a good help, if you want i'll give u the link

im gunna use it

what kind of exhaust do you have now? stock? muffler shop fab? your exhaust cannot possibly stick out 5" due to the crossover at the rear axly assy. buy mac long tubes, mac short off road H, and then the flowmaster cat back for the year GT of your car- it all bolts up.

Since we're talking about exhaust here, I have a question:

I have a Mac direct-fit dual cat back on my 02 V6, and was considering adding headers. Would I be better off with long or short tube?

your direct fit cat back bolts to the Y pipe, so if you wanted headers that bolt to your setup, shorties are the only option. long tubes would require new everything to get rid of the factory Y and replace with an H or X
