Trac-Loc is a Ford differential what uses clutches to allow both wheels to move at different speeds yet puts power to both wheels. A gear ratio swap isn't something for a newbie to tackle, though it's something that can be done in a couple hours. The process involves removing differential from the axle housing, changing the ring gear on it, and changing the pinion gear.

what do you mean u can get someone to change your gear ratio?
without a set of gears you cant

best thing for acceration is gears. but you aint goin no where fast if you've got shitty traction...t-lok will help

t lok will make hardly any difference on the stock ratio. the traction comes from the t lok, but the acceleration comes from the gear. frpp gears range from 130-150 for a set, 4.10s are ideal for an auto

transmission doesnt matter. t lok is in the rear axle assy.- it is a type of differential

what? that doesnt even make sense...it accelerates more after 60 so you want a diff gear....

first of all your friend is wrong..it'll accel quick of the bat and quicker then stock...the lower gear you go the slower the accleration will be

i have never heard of 3.67....they make 3.73s and 3.55 idk about no 3.67

4.10s will accelerate much more at any speed until theoretical top speed due to its ability to multiply torque more. read my gear article on the main page collection for more info.
