Rocker Stripes.

Just took them off, but it almost looks like there is a little outline left from there the lines were and the mustang lettering was. Will that go away eventually. I rub it down with Goo Gone. Should I wash it really well?

Btw, it looks 1000x better without the stripes! haha.

get a good rubbing compund and polish than wax itll be fixed

if they have been there a long time it might not go away tho....could just be where the rest of the car faded and under the letters didnt

im doing this to my car tommorow did you use a blow drier and windex?

Just a blow dryer, haha. No windex is needed. Just heat up one corner and pull. Pull slowly, but pull, haha. Repeat on all stripes and letters. The letters are a pain because you have to do it one by one, but it only took me about 30 min all together and it looks SOOO much better.

man, I really want to do this to mine... but got to get the $$ ready in case the paint is too faded... (sad having to save up for a free mod, lol)

but mine looks like shit right now... black chin spoiler and tan rocker stripes

removing the rocker stripes? interesting... i must be a decal whore: pinstripe, rocker stripe, hood stripe, bumper letter, giant pony in back window.
