Tire Size
Hey whats up, I just got me some 18x9 bullitt rims , and was wondering what tire size should i put on? I dont want it to rub or not fit right. Tell me what you think.

275/40/r18 rears call it a day, i hope i got these numbers right

I personally want 245 40 up front and 315 35's in the back
but you would need a wider rim for the backs.

not really cuz ive seen 315's on a 9 inch wide rim and they dont look all that bad. They look driveable

they must have been a skinny 315, because its not smart at all to jam that wide of a tire onto something that really needs a 10.5in wheel. 275 max on a 9 inch, and thats a little on the high side.

:S id get at least a 10 or 10.5 rim for 315's so they aren't bulgy.

What? Ive ran 275's on 8 inch wheels, so a bit bigger on a 9 inch shouldnt be a problem.

just because you have done it doesn't make it a good idea. Running the wrong size tire for the wheel in question could technically be deadly. When you install a tire the bead of the tire sits inside the rims lip. if the tire is too small or too big when the tire gets hot it expands and can pop out causing you to crash. Not to mention it would look bulgy and retarded.
